This course focuses on ethics and professionalism in the workplace, particularly on the practice of the student /teacher, whether at university or other institutions. The course involves THREE (03) lectures. In these lectures, respectively, students will know the meaning of ethics and its importance in academia and the areas associated with it. They will also learn how to acquire strong work ethics. After acquiring knowledge and skill in the first lecture, students should know that when the work is approached under its ethical dimension, that of the values ​​and the contextualization of the norm, one cannot reduce its organization to a simple respect for the norm by betting on the virtue of the worker and the delegation of power using an order transmitted from top to bottom. Then , the students will learn principles of professional ethics and which qualities the  members of professions must possess  such as integrity, competence, responsibility, respect and trust, in order to protect themselves and others. This is often referred to as having a "professional conduct. At the end of lecture 2 and the beginning of lecture 3, students are expected to   know the purpose of ethics i.e. the ethical reflection that makes it possible to determine the values ​​that constitute reasons for acting acceptable by society as a whole, by people who share the ideal of practice and, at the particular level, by the people and groups affected by a decision. By the end of lecture 3 of the course, students will focus on how to interpret the ethics of teachers. By the end of the course, students will have learned how the teacher is responsible for respecting the principles of academic ethics and deontology. He must, in the exercise of duties, act with care, diligence, competence, integrity, independence, loyalty and good faith in the best interests of the institution he is working for.


Course Description

This course is on Legislation in general, and focuses particularly on the Algerian legislation of the state, whether at the institutions or at the university. The course involves Six (03) lectures. In these lectures, which are fully definitions and laws, respectively, students will know the meaning of legislation and its importance. The definition of law and then the main role of the legislation which guides the students to have the intended view of what they want it to be. Its effectiveness is to be perceived as fair for all students, protecting students' right to education in a safe and dignified environment. In the first two lectures, they will know the definitions of the laws, and the right. They will also learn their rights and their duties towards their country, their towns, their wilayas and their universities. In the first lecture, students should have an idea on the legislation in general, its rules and the various sources of Algerian law. And they should know that they are responsible for all their behaviors. At the end of the lectures, extra information will be given to or received from the students, especially updated passed laws in Algeria and in the world concerning all the fields, especially the higher education field.
